There are places and projects that change you. For me that was when Johnson & Johnson assigned spring to go to Africa and tell the story of HIV/AIDS. That project became a three year mission that explored the reality of HIV in Kenya, Zimbabwe as well as here in the US.

One woman’s personal story of living through the plague of AIDS.
The caring world was our umbrella brand idea for the work that J&J does to support vulnerable populations. It launched during their sponsorship of the Global Citizen concert series.
Grandparents and children were left behind after AIDS ravaged Africa. This is one of the many photos we captured to tell the story not of devastation, but recovery and resilience.
We created over 50 films from our trips to Africa, including a feature length documentary.
Nyumbani Village is a self-sufficient village of over 1,000 children impacted by HIV. They grow their own food, make their own clothes and furniture and have academic and vocational schools.
The world moves forward one child at a time became the theme for our first year of work. It kind of wrote itself.
This one may be a little difficult to watch, but unfortunately it is the truth of what is happening.
Our exploration of HIV brought us to Los Angeles and the Black AIDS Institute.
Josh became an inspiration because he wasn’t afraid to share his story and, in the end, save lives.
